UW Arboretum Kiosk
UI DESIGN CASE STUDY • 2020
I created this kiosk concept and design in the user interface course I took as part of a Web & Interactive Design Certificate program. My vision was to have a series of kiosks placed throughout the UW-Arboretum downtown Madison. The kiosks would have three functions: (1) allow you to look at a map of the trees' locations in the arboretum, (2) look up a specific tree to learn more about it, and (3) walk through a series of questions to identify a tree based on a fallen leaf.

KEY PROJECT ROLES:
-
Created concept for kiosk and its functions
-
Developed user personas and user flows
-
Created a "wireflow": a hybrid between low-fidelity wireframes and high-fidelity mockups
-
Developed visual branding elements for kiosk, including colors, type selections and hierarchy, imagery styles
-
Built working prototype with Adobe XD
